Board of Revision Tax Foreclosure Notices of Final Hearing
Pursuant to R.C. 323.65 to 323.79, you are hereby notified that a final foreclosure hearing is hereby scheduled for the property listed below, Lucas County Records list you either as an Owner or interested party in such property. The hearing will be held on January 27, 2012 at the Board of Revision, One Government Center, Suite 600, Toledo, OH 43604 at 9:00 o=clock a.m.
This is a foreclosure proceeding against the parcels referenced below for non-payment of real estate taxes. To avoid foreclosure, you or an interested party must pay the full amount of the delinquent taxes, plus interest, penalties and costs incurred to date (AImpositions@); or you may be eligible to enter into a payment plan under R.C.323.31 (APayment Plan@). To find out if you are eligible to enter into a Payment Plan, you must BEFORE THE HEARING, go to the office of the Lucas County Treasurer located at One Government Center, Suite 500, Toledo, OH 43604.
If the Impositions exceed the Auditor=s valuation of the property and the property is foreclosed upon, the property is eligible to be immediately transferred directly to a municipality, township, county, land reutilization corporation, or eligible community development group WITHOUT A SHERIFF SALE. Additionally, upon foreclosure of the parcel(s), even if the impositions do not exceed the Auditor=s valuation of the property, the equity of redemption in any parcel by its owner shall be forever terminated after the expiration of the alternative redemption period, that the parcel may be sold at sheriff=s sale -or-that the parcel may be transferred directly to a municipal corporation, township, county, school district, or county land reutilization corporation without appraisal and WITHOUT A SHERIFF SALE, free and clear of all impositions and any other liens on the property, which shall be deemed forever satisfied and discharged pursuant to R.C. 323.78.
Failure to attend and defend your interests may result in an adverse judgment against you.
