Three UT Rockets named to Academic All-MAC Team

Junior Colin Joseph, junior Stephen Watts and sophomore Spencer Shoemaker have been named to the 2016-17 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league office recently announced. The trio represents UT on the 21-player list which honors student-athletes' achievements both on the golf course as well as in the classroom.

Dayton man indicted on terrorism charge

A federal grand jury returned an indictment today charging Laith Waleed Alebbini, 26, of Dayton, Ohio, with one count of attempting to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization. Alebbini allegedly attempted to provide support in the form of personnel, namely himself, to ISIS.
