Four Rocket teams earn honors for perfect academic progress rate scores

Four University of Toledo sports were honored by the NCAA for ranking in the top 10 percent of their sport in Academic Progress Rate (APR). The four sports were Women's Basketball, Women's Golf, Men's Tennis and Women's Tennis. All four sports received perfect scores of 1,000 for the four-year period from 2013-14 to 2016-17.

Rockets go lights out on final day of MAC Championships

Senior Janelle Noe won the 1,500m in 4:17.01 to break the conference record as Toledo closed out the final day of the Mid-American Conference Championships, Saturday May 12, hosted by University at Buffalo. The Rockets leave Buffalo, N.Y. in third place with 74 points, claiming the second-best championship finish in program history (second place-2012).

Home health care agency owner sentenced for committing $2 million fraud

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine recently joined Benjamin C. Glassman, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, and other officials in announcing that the owner of an Athens County home health care agency has been sentenced to prison for committing fraud.
