Toledo (1-4) closed out the UNI-Dome Classic with a doubleheader split on Sunday thanks to an outstanding effort by the Rockets' offense that scored 17 runs on 18 hits and zero errors in a 17-5 victory Nebraska-Omaha. The Rockets started the day with an 8-6 loss to Montana.

Rockets move up one spot to finish fifth at MAC Championships

Toledo moved up one spot in last Sunday's final round of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships to finish in fifth place at the par-72, 6,177-yard Silver Lake Country Club. The Rockets registered their best team score of the event today with a 15-over par 303 to edge Akron by a stroke with a 54-hole total of 64-over par 928 (313-312-303).
