The
R-1 Single-Family Residence District is designed to accommodate
single-family dwellings on lots with areas of 12,000 square feet or
greater.
Certain public/ semi-public uses intended to serve
single-family residential development are permitted.
The R-1 District will be mapped to protect existing
low-density single-family neighborhoods that satisfy the following
minimum requirements and for area that will develop in the future.
Select nonresidential uses may be permitted in this district
as conditional uses, only after review and approval of detailed site
lands by the Planning Commission and Council as outlined in this
Zoning Ordinance.
