The Court is now accepting applications for a job share partner for the position of Judges Secretary. This position is a part-time, job sharing position (20 hours/week). This position is responsible for secretarial, receptionist, and clerical functions for Judges and the Court Administrative staff. Candidates must have high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years secretarial experience. One year of business college or secretarial school may be substituted for one year of required experience. Extensive knowledge of office procedures and computer competency required. Candidates must have experience using MS Word and type 50 WPM. A demonstrated ability to take shorthand preferred, but not required. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality required. Applicants must also submit to and pass a background check. Starting salary is $15.497/hour and full rate salary is $17.219/hour.

The Judicial Conference of the United States has authorized the appointment of a full-time United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio at Toledo.
The current annual salary of the position is $160,080. The term of office is eight years.
