Notice Content: NOTICE The Miami Valley Fire/EMS Alliance (Alliance) is seeking quotes on ladder testing. The Alliance is using the latest editions of NFPA 1914, Standard for Testing Fire Department Aerial Devices, and NFPA 1932, and Standard on Use, Maintenance, and Service Testing of Fire Department Ground Ladders, as the reference specification for the tests. The Alliance expects all bids to fully reflect the details for third party inspection and testing such as: Certified ASNT Level II NDT technician for nondestructive testing; rail hardness and thickness checks; weld, bolt, pin and washer inspection; and specified related nondestructive testing procedures such as ultrasonic and radiographic inspections, as required.
