By virtue of an order of sale issued from the Court of Common Pleas of Lucas County, OH and directed and delivered to me, I, James A. The minimum bid for the property will be noted above, plus costs. As soon as the bid is accepted the purchaser is required to pay noted above. The balance must be paid within 30 days after confirmation of the sale by the Court. Payments must be in cash, certified check or debit transaction, payable to the Lucas County Sheriff.
If the property does not receive a sufficient bid at the initial sale, the property will be again offered for sale, under the same terms, at the same time and location on the 28th day of January, 2010.
Prospective purchasers are responsible for knowing what they are bidding on prior to the sale. Any taxes or assessments, which are not legally due and payable upon the confirmation of the sale, shall remain a first and best lien on the property, and the purchaser shall take the property subject to all such taxes and assessments. The property may be sold at public auction subject to a right of redemption by the federal government, so prospective purchasers are urged to search the federal tax lien index in the Office of the Lucas County Recorder to determine if notice of a federal tax lien has been filed. The property may also be subject to a child support lien that will not be extinguished by the sale.
