You are hereby notified that on the 4th day of June, 2008, Timothy Louis Bugaj and Marcia Lynn Bugaj, filed in this Court a Petition for Adoption of Maranda Marie Wiedman-Bugaj, a minor, whose date of birth is 01/04/2004, and for change of the name of the minor to Maranda Marie Bugaj. This Court, located at 700 Adams Street, Toledo, Ohio, will hear the petition on the 2nd day of October, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. It is alleged in the Petition, pursuant to R.C. 3107.07, that the consent of Karrie Lynn Kranick is not required due to the following: The parent has failed without justifiable cause to communicate with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner. The parent has failed without justifiable cause to provide for the maintenance and support of the minor as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one year immediately preceding either the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner.
