Toledo Legal News - News Attorney General DeWine, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation mark first summer of Badges for Baseball program
(Zanesville) Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and representatives from the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation today commemorated the first summer of the Badges for Baseball Program by gathering statewide participants and distributing school supplies at the program's Ohio Baseball Clinic in Zanesville. The program was created by the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to help at-risk youth and prevent juvenile crime by pairing police and kids together playing baseball and softball and building new relationships between youth and law enforcement.
